About me

I am passionate about helping individuals build awareness into how their past experiences influence their present sense of self, relationship struggles, and mental health challenges. I have completed extensive training in the treatment of trauma and find myself most passionate about helping clients heal from developmental trauma and attachment trauma related issues.

I have a nurturing and supportive approach to therapy. I believe that effective trauma-informed therapy requires mindful conceptualization and pacing to ensure client safety throughout the therapeutic process.

I have over eight years of experience and have been practicing EMDR since 2019. I became an EMDR certified therapist through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) in 2021. I’m committed to continuing my education and practice as this enables me to provide the highest quality of service to my clients.

Outside of the office, I am a mother, a wife, and a Maryland native. I’m an avid reader, a fitness enthusiast, and an animal lover. I’m happiest spending quiet time at home or in nature with my friends and family. I would describe myself as a realistic optimist who believes that everyone is capable of healing.
